We recently welcomed our new Field Sales Consultant, Christian Gibbs to the DCW family! Christian is a key contact in the sales team for North Devon and Plymouth, helping to meet the needs of our local customers in this beautiful part of the county.
After 9 years in the motor trade and a recent relocation, Christian is already enjoying the benefits of working for DCW in this part of Devon. “The North Devon area has been my home now for the past 6 months and in that time, I’ve been able to see how beautiful it really is.’’ He also praises the community he’s living and working in. “The people I meet are proud of where they live and most are on the environmental journey, so being able to speak with like-minded people is absolutely amazing.”
Christian’s typical day is customer focused – both on the telephone and in person – so he’s always on hand to speak to local businesses needing support and bespoke advice for their commercial waste management requirements from DCW.
Speaking about his experience so far, Christian says, “DCW is clearly well known and well respected by the business community in Devon, who are interested in our greener culture. And I know that my beliefs and ethos are matched with the environmental policies of DCW.”
With an acute interest in looking after our natural surroundings and a background in Environmental Science at Plymouth University, Christian is keen to expand the brand further. “I’d like to work with new contracts that want to make a difference to the environment. I want to do my best to reduce as much waste going to landfill and ensure we’re recycling more. If I can reach this goal, then on a personal level it will be very fulfilling.”
