At DCW Ltd, we’re proud to support Exeter Chiefs in their efforts to become a more sustainable club. This season, we’ve made it easier than ever for you, the fans, to play your part in protecting the environment while enjoying the game.
We’ve introduced new recycling stations across Sandy Park to help you quickly and responsibly sort your rubbish. Each station features three separate bins for:
🍔 Food waste – which we send to an anaerobic digester to produce renewable energy and fertiliser.
♻️ Mixed recyclables – ensuring more materials can be recovered and reused.
🗑️ General waste – which we send to an energy from waste facility to generate power.
To encourage everyone to get involved, we’ve created a video featuring two try-scoring stars, Tom Cairns and Greg Fisilau.

By using the recycling stations, you’re directly helping the Chiefs improve recycling rates and reduce the environmental footprint of the stadium. Food waste, for instance, is taken to Langage Farm, where it’s processed into energy to power local businesses and fertiliser for Devon farms.
But that’s just the start.
At DCW, we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all. That’s why we offer bespoke recycling solutions tailored to the needs of businesses across Devon, including our partnership with Exeter Chiefs. Whether it’s managing complex waste streams or introducing recycling systems, our approach is designed to help organisations of all sizes become more sustainable — without the stress.
⚙️ What does bespoke recycling mean? It means we’ll take the time to understand your business and its unique waste challenges. We’ll then create a tailored plan that fits your operation, whether you’re a restaurant in the heart of the city, a retail unit on the outskirts, a rural education setting, or a large-scale venue like Sandy Park.
♻️ From confidential documents to clinical waste, DCW offers a comprehensive range of recycling and disposal services — including confidential waste shredding, commercial glass recycling, cardboard recycling, plastic reprocessing, and even clinical and hazardous waste disposal. With our specialist facilities, we recycle thousands of tonnes of material every year — and we’re always exploring new ways to do more for the planet.
Grant Scott, our General Manager, says:
“Whether you’re running a stadium or a small business, sustainable waste management can make a huge difference. Our bespoke services mean Devon businesses get exactly what they need — and nothing they don’t. We’re here to make recycling easy, accessible, and impactful.”
So, while you’re enjoying the next Chiefs match, know that the work we’re doing behind the scenes is helping to build a more sustainable future — not just for the stadium, but for the entire region.
