DCW Ltd has moved its head office to Exeter’s Greendale Business Park, to grow the business and reduce its environmental footprint.
The move, which will expand the innovate recycling company’s capabilities, positions DCW closer to its parent company, SUEZ, while remaining fully operated by DCW’s local team.
Relocating from the Enviro Hub in Marsh Barton, DCW’s new base at Greendale Business Park co-locates DCW with SUEZ and enables better logistics, reduced travel times and priority tipping as the two companies share office and disposal facilities for waste segregation and processing. The move will also boost DCW’s environmental footprint by cutting down transportation emissions and optimising route efficiencies.
With 15 office staff and a fleet of 34 trucks based at Greendale, DCW is better equipped to serve Devon businesses, offering faster, more efficient services. Additionally, the site’s proximity to the M5 allows for quicker access and more streamlined operations, further contributing to the company’s environmental goals.
While DCW will operate primarily from Greendale, the company will continue its presence at Lee Mill Industrial Estate in Plymouth and Thorveton Road MRF at Marsh Barton, Exeter.
Grant Scott, General Manager at DCW commented; “Our move to Greendale marks a significant step in our continued growth. It allows us to strengthen our operations while maintaining the local, reliable service we’ve built our reputation on. We’re also proud to contribute to reducing our environmental footprint through more efficient logistics and transport routes.”
