DCW is delighted to announce the launch of its national Zero to Landfill recycling service after a year of continued growth.
The family run business is offering its cost effective, environmentally sustainable waste management solutions to South West firms with a waste requirement outside the region. Suited to businesses with multiple sites, DCW can now offer its services anywhere in the UK via its trusted and reliable network of suppliers.
DCW’s UK-wide service offers South West organisations the opportunity to enhance their environmental sustainability credentials by ensuring that additional sites dispose of waste responsibly by using the firm’s Zero to Landfill solution. Providing organisations with a convenient, one-stop approach to take care of all their waste management needs nationwide, the new service gives customers a chance to streamline their waste management processes.
DCW Managing Director, Simon Almond, said: “We have been operating in the South West for over 30 years now and during this time, we have listened to our customers to understand what they look for in a waste management firm. Businesses based in the South West which have sites across the UK have said to us that they wish their other sites could receive the same DCW service. We’re now in a position to make that happen!
“We strive to make sustainable waste management as seamless as possible. Our national waste management solution is flexible and tailored to suit each site’s individual waste disposal and recycling needs. It includes a fixed price for each service anywhere in the UK and we provide businesses with a single point of contact, allowing companies to wave goodbye to multiple invoices.
“We’re proud to be based in the South West, but we’re also confident our team is capable of supporting the recycling goals and waste management needs of businesses with multiple sites, no matter where in the country they might be. At a time when there is an increasing amount of pressure building to reduce global waste and carbon emissions, this is an opportunity for businesses to build their green credentials and we look forward to being at the forefront of this movement with our passion to achieve a strong circular economy.”
DCW’s national waste management service focuses on recycling, preventing waste going to landfill. It includes commercial, food, clinical, plastic and hazardous waste, glass recycling, data destruction, WEEE and cardboard collections. It combines the agility of a local service provider to meet customers’ site-specific needs with a reliable and consistent service across the UK; managed by a single point of contact with reporting and invoicing from one source.
The new service offer comes on the back of a year of growth for DCW. Despite the challenges Coronavirus has presented, DCW has reported a significant uplift in trade as regional businesses seek environmentally friendly waste management solutions. Last year, DCW not only invested £456,000 in three new state-of-the-art, environmentally efficient vehicles to add to its fleet, but it also invested in a new plastic processing machine at DCW Polymers, the specialist plastics reprocessing plant in Exeter. Investment in new equipment has allowed DCW to continue its mission to achieve a more circular economy in the South West, its latest initiative being to create a garden range made entirely from waste plastic.
