Torquay United Football Club is set to benefit from a partnership with DCW, for the 2024/25 season.
The ongoing sponsorship by Devon’s commercial waste and recycling experts ensures that the club’s home ground at Plainmoor, will be maintained with top-tier waste management services, helping reduce the club’s environmental footprint and creating a cleaner, more sustainable environment for its fans, players and staff.
As part of the the ongoing sponsorship, DCW, is providing a comprehensive waste management solution which ensures the stadium’s waste is managed efficiently, increasing recycling levels with a focus on reducing environmental impact.
In addition to recycling and waste management services, DCW has invested in new pitch-side advertising boards, which are prominently displayed in front of the Thatcher’s Terrace, the area which is home to the club’s noisy and passionate Yellow Army at the stadium.
Members of the DCW team recently had the opportunity to visit Plainmoor and meet with Torquay United’s manager, Paul Wotton. The meeting underscored the strong relationship between DCW and the club, highlighting their shared values of teamwork, excellence, and commitment to the local community.
Jess Veacock, Operations Manager, Torquay United, commented:
“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with DCW for the upcoming season. Their support is invaluable, and their commitment to sustainability resonates with our own values as a club. We look forward to working closely with DCW to ensure that Plainmoor remains a clean and welcoming environment for all.”

We’re excited to see our waste management solutions making a positive impact at Plainmoor and are proud to be associated with a club that shares our commitment to excellence and community engagement.”
